This Charity was created by combining the funds of two ancient charities, created in 1649 and 1734, whose original aims had become out of date.

Daniel’s & Houghton’s Charity is an independent grant-making charitable trust which aims to reduce the need, hardship or distress of persons resident in Lancashire.
